From the Mahjoub Family Estate. Handmade in Tunisia. This puree of fresh artichoke hearts is blended with extra virgin olive oil to create a rich spread that tastes like fresh steamed artichokes.

So versatile! Perfect on a grilled baguette or cracker as an appetizer, in salad dressing or on a sandwich, mixed with olive oil for bright sauce for protein, couscous or pasta. Works beautifully on charcuteries plates or in picnic baskets as well!

These condiments do not have preservatives. To make them last longer: keep upright, top with olive oil upon opening (can do this every use if desired), and refrigerate.

Then as now, grains were grown in large quantities, olive harvests were abundant, and market gardening was highly developed, with a huge variety of fruit and vegetables. No wonder this family estate can cultivate such a magnificent medley of produce on their farms.
